Very few centers in South India does the Andrological work / sexual dysfunction in a fully established manner. Now Kalyani Kidney Care Center has come with complete andrological armamentarium for evaluation & treatment of Erectile Dysfunction, Premature Ejaculation, Peyronie’s disease, Chronic prostatitis and female sexual dysfunction.

Our Andrological setup includes dedicated urologists trained in Andrology, Psychology and special equipments for the evaluation and treatment like Rigi scan, penile Doppler, Low intensity shock wave therapy, vacuum device, vibrator and various penile prosthesis.

Rigi Scan (To assess Nocturnal Penile Tumescence)

Normal subjects will have atleast 4-5 erection during their sleep (especially at their REM sleep).

In psychogenic erectile dysfunction, subjects will be having normal nocturnal erection. Rigi scan is an instrument, which records the nocturnal erection over night. There are two rings which will be attached to penis and the device kept overnight. Next day the readings will be taken and interpreted. Rigi scan gives the objective evidence of erection and it will differentiate psychogenic ED from organic causes.
